Making a Twin Fin Mid Length
Well for those of you who watch my videos, you may have picked up on the idea that I lIke to surf. So, naturally being a guy that likes to make stuff, it only made sense that it was time to make my own surfboard. After a very slow surf summer with minimal waves with any real size to them, I was jonesing to make a fun mid length board that I could get into waves early on. I also wanted to still have some shortboard performance to the board unlike a longboard. Though this was not my first surfboard build, having only done one other, this one was a challenge to say the least. I had several issues along the way but was able to overcome each problem and in the end I ended up with a pretty nice...

Concrete and Steel coffee Table. Well, Barrel House Brewery has been keeping me busy lately. I was commissioned to do a couple concrete tables to go in front of the Giant Barrel Benches I built for them a couple months ago. The Coffee Tables are made by pouring concrete in a melamine mold upside down, removed and then flipped right side up and then polished. I added a metal inlay of Barrel Hous...
Crouching Surfer Hidden Burl

Crouching Surfer Hidden Burl is a quick little video I made of me going to the beach to retrieve a burl off a piece of drift wood. California has had a ton of rain and flooding which has pushed a lot of debris down on to the beaches. on a beach trip with my family I discovered a huge burl on one of the trees that had made its way down to the beach. I decided that I would return a couple days la...
Giant Barrel Benches For Barrel House Brewery

The benches are made from a giant foeder (pronounced food-er) that was originally used for wine and then later bought by Barrel House Brewery to ferment Sour beers in. The foeder, which is basically a giant wine barrel, was decommissioned and no longer in use and the owner wante...

DIY Steady Rest Build. I have been needing a steady rest for my wood lathe for quite a long time. Yes, I could go out and buy one, but they are a bit expensive and what fun would that be, when you can DIY one in your shop. For those that don't know what a steady rest is, It is a tool that allows the workpiece on a lathe to rest on to prevent the piece from wobbling or being pushed out of spinni...

DIY Forge Press Build

Well... I went and watched the show "Forged In Fire" with my kids. Then of coarse my son and daughter said, "That looks fun, we should make some knives." So, being the most awesome dad on the planet that I am, I said "Heck yeah we should!", and that's how it all began. So after a little research and watching guys on RUclips like Black Bear Forge, I came to the decision to build a Forge Press. W...

I Almost Died!! Installing Ibeam In My Shop!! I decided to install an ibeam in my shop to make more room by removing a post. I made a stupid mistake and it came crashing down. Luckily I was able to run away fast enough before the 900 pound beam came crashing down on me. I made the necessary safety changes needed to put the beam in and now have the room I wanted in my shop. thanks for watching S...

Fish Mailbox Part 2, Decorative Kelp Address Build. I wanted to do something cool to highlight our home address under the new fish mailbox to complete the build. Modern Bell Build Using An Old Scuba Tank
Nice, but those tools are pretty pricey if you don't already have one. What I'd do, just as an idea, is make the seat just slightly too big to fit the copper fitting, then heat the fitting a lot. Should slide right on, and then shrink fit as it cools. It might singe the wood a bit I guess, so YMMV, try it on scrap first. (I've done the inverse with a wheel bearing, shrank the hub axle wih dry ice, worked like charm.)
Not a bad idea! …Thanks for the input 🤙🤙
Very hard video to follow if you’re actually doing it yourself.
What is the thickness overall of your table? Thanks :)
It’s 2 pieces of 3/4 bamboo ply glued together, so 1 1/2” thick. 🤙
@@ShalohaCreations Fantastic! I've opted for two layers of 18mm Birch ply....I start my project today, with your video as my guide! Wish me luck!!! :)
Яхту следующий раз покажи как сделал😅 я уверен что это ты сделал😅
didn’t make the watch but maybe next video 😜
Worth remembering than concrete is approximately 2400kg/m3 😂
If I only knew that the first poor😜
The butt blur was everything lol
And that’s how I know you watched till the end 😂.. Thanks 🤙
Dude great job 👏🏼 I can’t wait to make mines I hope it comes out somewhat as good as yours!!!!!!
You can do it!🤙🤙
Will you be my dad
Hmmm .. depends 😜
Love it if you could start from scratch and show us how to build one? that’s asking a lot though. I know if you live in North Carolina, I’ll pay for it.
That would be a long video 😜
Love the door!!! Awesome!!!
Thank you!!🙏 🤙
You are a professional artist, my dear brother ❤
Thank you so much 🙏🤙
First leather project?? That’s awesome dude!
Yes! Thank you! There are things I would do differently or change on the next one.. but that’s how I learn ;) 🙏🤙
Masterful work sir. Your metal working skills are much better than mine. Appreciate the video.
Wow, thanks.🙏
Pretty cool table work. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching 🙏🤙
Beautiful work.
Thank you! Cheers!🤙🙏
What is the metal piece holding your tape measure made of specifically? I’m considering making myself a similar apron. Love the video!
It’s just a piece of aluminum I found in the shop and bent to shape 🤙👍
Do it like you oughter, add the acid to the water. You did it right, man!
Learned that in high school chemistry class.. probably the only thing I learned I. That class .. …😜haha
Thank you.. isolation probably not necessary but helps with safety issues and heat retention when I use it like an oven👍🤙
@@ShalohaCreations thank you very much for your answers . ;)
amazing oven build big up
Big thanks 🙏 🤙
دروووود، عالی، اگرممکنه ترجمه فارسی لطفا؟؟
Thank you .. will try
Не хватило, для полноты картинки, только квантового компьютера, но котором чертёж печи делался 😂
😁🤣
The best oven video by far, well done. I'm in India, what kind of stone did you put over the vermiculite?
It’s a colored fire brick.. they are just half bricks instead of full thickness 👍
Where did u get the foam oven mould pls? Or did you glue and shape it yourself?
Got it from these guys …brickwoodovens.com 🤙
Excellent video. Thanks for posting and giving those final dimensions.
Thanks you holdemNE1 🙏🤙
what is the dimension for your seatwall, looks great
Hi , ¿the thickness of the apron is 2mm?
I can’t remember but I believe so.. I would go a little thinner next time if I did it again
Hi there! Amazing work! How long did all the process take? I'll study and practice in the future to become a craftsman.
Hi lmgroch, thanks for watching my video. The chair, because it was a prototype took far longer than it should have. I had about 10hrs just in weaving the cording. And probable another 10-15 in the design and build of wood portion. I love the process, so it was worth it. If I did it again I could probably cut the time down by at least half. 👍
About to do some "sketchy stuff" 😅
Yep 😜
You did a great job on the table, but you didn't show us anything, just a high speed clip of a few of the steps. If you had taken the time to explain what materials you used and showed the critical steps of how you cut out for the machine, it would have been great. Also you should have replaced the motor with a new servo motor while you had everything apart.
Thanks Roncrawford, servo motor was on order and didn’t arrive on time for the video ;) Unfortunately in a world of people with short attention spans I’ve had to clip my videos down to under 7min otherwise people seem to loose interest and I get very few views. Still trying to figure out how to make videos that people will watch. Thanks for the advice 🤙
Suppongo che siate inglesi,no?❤❤ auguri alla vostra famiglia.

Excellent video
Thank you very much!🙏
That’s awesome dude I’ve made 2 and now have more ideas 😂
Hahaha awesome.. now get proficient at it and have a thriving business ;) 🤙
wow, you did great job. After l watched your video, I am going to build my own pizza oven too at my backyard.
Awesome 👏 thanks for watching 🤙
This is IT!
Do it 😜
Hello there. love the build! How many 50lb bags of stucco mix did you need?
And what type of float did you use for the stucco
I think I only used 2 bags but can’t remember 🤙
that was really painfull to watch hahaha
It was painful to clean up 😜
Beautiful work. I wish I had the skills.
Thank you 🙏🤙🤙
I didn't hear you mention what leather you used? 3/4 ounce maybe?
Thanks Phillip, that’s because I lost the paperwork from the company I bought the leather from. I can’t remember thickness but I do know if I were to do it over again I would probably go a tad thinner for more flexibility. If I remember right, I bought a half Hyde that was oiled vegtan. Sorry, hope that helps. 🤙
Rad leather project bro. New subscriber, looking forward to some more of project videos.
Thanks you for subscribing danielpreilly .. I am currently on a but remodel renovation job that’s eating up all my time for the next few months. I plan on getting back in the shop and making videos as soon as I can🙏🤙🤙
Very nice. Please brother show me same machine like how to hide bed room like cabinet any idea show. I have similar brother industrial big sewing machine. Use factory, I put my bed room. No space move looks very ugly. Please kindly make cabinets mean show how to hide bedroom and looks very nice
Thanks ishratsatter5628 great idea.. if I ever get a little time I might just have to do that .👍🤙
Great build. However, I wouldn't say it's a DIY. You have so many professional tools that not many people would have.
Thanks gregiwal, I agree, but it can be scaled done and done with far fewer tools.. check out the free plans these guys offer, www.brickwoodovens.com/ 🤙
Great job
Thank you 🙏🤙
Great job, very unique finished product.
Thank you very much!🤙
Any chance you can make me one of these Aprons?
Hi MrBackdaddy.. sorry for late response. I’ve been working on a remodel that’s been taking up all my time the last few months.. unfortunately I do not have time at the moment to make another one of these aprons. I am still working on the remodel and have several project in line when I’m done, but thank you for inquiring. Much appreciate, Shaloha 🤙
Quanto è la velocità di movimento della pressa? Utilizzi due pompe? Potrei sapere quale tipo di pompa hai utilizzato? Grazie
I bought a used pump from marketplace. Can’t remember the brand, but it pumps upward of 11gpm
What's the cost ??
About 2000 when I did it.. you can spend less or more depending on what you want in the end ;)
you win.
Ha 😜
Where did you buy the black fire brick?
These where a letf over from a special order at a local builders supply near me. American Builders Supply now called Site One..🤙
